RECRUITMENT OF STAFF FOR NATIONAL TOBACCO TESTING LABORATORIES (NTTLs)   

1)Name of Post: Senior Scientific Officer

No. of Post: 01 no.

Education Qualification: M.Sc. with PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Sciences/Instrumentation/ studies related to tobacco and tobacco products.

Pay Scale: Rs.65,000/- PM

Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products! synthesis! analysis at Organic compounds! bio-chemical/ pharmaceutical sciences.

Job description: To plan and execute analytical work.
 
2)Name of Post: Senior Scientific Officer -II

No. of Post: 01 No.

Education Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/pharmaceutical Chemistry/Sciences or M.Pharm with 5 years research experience
Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products/synthesis/analysis of organic compounds/bio-chemical/pharmaceutical sciences

Job Description: To work on advanced analytical equipment’s and protocols for tobacco products analysis.

Pay Scale: Rs.60,000/-
 
3)Name of Post: Technical Officer (Grade II)

No. of Post : 01 No.

Education Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Analytical Sciences/Bio-chemistry/Biotechnology or M.Pharm.

Desirable: Five years Post degree research experience on handling analytical equipment’s/synthetic reagents.

Job description: To carry out scientific work on instrumental analysis and tobacco protocol development.

Pay Scale: Rs.58,000/-
 
4)Name of Post: Technical Assistant

No. of Post: 03 Nos.

Education Qualification: M.Sc or B.Sc./B Pharm with 3 years of experiences in chemical/ physical/ biological analysis/computer applications.

Desirable: Experience of operating analytical equipment.

Job description: To carry out analytical/synthetic work and to prepare relevant technical reports

Pay Scale: Rs.38,000/-
 
5)Name of Post: Administrative Assistant

No. of Post: 01 No.

Education Qualification: Graduate in any stream with 2 years experience in a reputed organization.

Desirable: Experience in stenography/handling science related project office.

Job description: To assist the Administrative officer in various administrative work.

Pay Scale: Rs.38,000/-
 
6)Name of Post: Accounts Assistant

Post: 01 No.

Education Qualification: B.Com/BA with Commerce/Accounts with proficiency/knowledge of using Tally with 2 years experience at handling accounts.

Desirable: Experience of maintaining accounts/project.
Job description: To assist in maintenance of administrative project details/accounts.
 
7)Name of Post: Instrument Attendant

No. of Post: 02 Nos.

Education Qualification: Class XII in any stream With 2 years of Lab experience.

Desirable: ITI Certificate in related field

Job description: To maintain upkeep of sophisticated equipment’s, cleaning of Instruments etc.
